dc.description.abstractLas frutas y hortalizas son alimentos de alto consumo en lo que respecta a la dieta del ser humano. Por proveer agua, vitaminas, minerales, fibra y diferentes compuestos beneficiosos para el organismo, existe un amplio mercado que implícitamente incluye su almacenamiento, transporte y distribución. En el tema de la conservación, esta debe realizarse de una forma eficaz, ya que, cada fruta u hortaliza, posee condiciones diferentes de maduración que la hace óptima o no para su consumo. En dicho contexto, nace la necesidad de conocer las condiciones idóneas que una fruta u hortaliza debe tener luego de su cosecha. Si bien es cierto, este tipo de información no es evaluada por cada persona que se sumerge en la venta de frutas y hortalizas, esto puede ser causado por desconocimiento en el tema y no saber buscar fuentes confiables de información acerca de la postcosecha, llevando al vendedor a realizar malas prácticas de conservación en sus frutas y hortalizas, causando daños y pérdidas de calidad en las mismas. Con base a lo expuesto anteriormente, surge la necesidad del diseño de una herramienta digital que permita el conocimiento del manejo postcosecha que debe realizarse en una verdulería, supermercado u hogar. La aplicación desarrollada tiene el propósito de mejorar y aumentar la vida útil de la fruta u hortaliza, considerando aspectos fundamentales como el ambiente y condiciones para la distribución, almacenamiento y transporte. El resultado de este trabajo está disponible de forma gratuita en Play Store del sistema operativo Android para teléfonos inteligentes.es_ES
dc.description.abstractFruits and vegetables are high consumption foods as far as the human diet is concerned. By providing water, vitamins, minerals, fiber and different compounds beneficial to the body, there is a wide market that implicitly includes storage, transport and distribution. In the subject of conservation, this must be done in an effective way, since each fruit or vegetable has different ripening conditions that makes it optimal or not for consumption. In this context, the need arises to know the ideal conditions that a fruit or vegetable must have after its harvest. While it is true that this type of information is not evaluated by every person who immerses himself in the sale of fruits and vegetables, this may be caused by lack of knowledge on the subject and not knowing how to look for reliable sources of information about post-harvest, leading the seller to carry out bad conservation practices in their fruits and vegetables, causing damage and loss of quality in them. Based on the above, the need arises for the design of a digital tool that allows knowledge of post-harvest handling to be carried out in a greengrocer's, supermarket or home. The application developed has the purpose of improving and increasing the useful life of the fruit or vegetable, considering fundamental aspects such as the environment and conditions for distribution, storage and transport. The result of this work is available free of charge in the Play Store of the Android operating system for smartphones.es_ES
