The following research aimed to evaluate the growth of banana tissue culture plants under greenhouse conditions through the application of endophytic fungi. Plants of the Grande Naine variety (AAA) were inoculated with nine isolates recovered from the internal root tissues in banana plantations of the EARTH University: three isolates from the farm under renovation, three isolates from the organic farm and three isolates from the farm in fallow. There were 10 treatments: nine isolates Trichoderma and one control. Each treatment had 10 replicates. The plant growth variables evaluated were: the height of the plant and the diameter of the pseudostem during the eight weeks of the bioassay. At the end of the experiment the plants were sacrificed for assessing the number of functional roots and the fresh and dry biomass. The results indicated that the height of the plant was higher in plants protected with Trichoderma where the Endo9-RE (10.65 cm) and Endo8-RE (9.8 cm) compared to the control (8.52 cm). For the diameter of the pseudostem the best treatments were Endo1-BO (1.4 cm), Endo2-BO (1.32 cm), Endo3-BO (1.31 cm), Endo4-BA (1.31 cm) and Endo8-RE (1.28 cm), compared to the control (1.19 cm). The number of functional roots was higher in plants treated with Trichoderma and the best treatments were Endo2-BO (26.4), Endo1-BO (22.5), Endo3-BO (22.7) and Endo4-BA (21.9) compared to the control (19.4). The total fresh biomass of the plant was higher in plants protected with Trichoderma, the best treatments were the Endo3-BO (76.5 g), Endo2-BO (75.5 g), Endo4-BA (73.8 g), Endo1-BO (67.8 g) and Endo8-RE (66.6 g), compared to the control (56.9 g). The dry biomass of the plant was higher in plants protected with Trichoderma and the best treatments were the Endo2-BO (9.56 g), Endo3-BO (8.86 g), Endo4-BA (8.46 g), Endo1 -BO (8.34 g) and Endo8-RE (7.85 g), compared to the control (7.11 g). The best treatments were Endo1-BO, Endo2-BO, Endo3-BO and Endo4- BA.
