Estimación del carbono en Megathyrsus maximus (Syn. Panicum maximum) cv. BRS Zuri y cv. Mombasa.

dc.description.abstractEl proyecto de investigación se realizó en el Campo Agroestológico ubicado en la Universidad EARTH con el objetivo de estimar el carbono en el sistema radicular y parte aérea en diferentes cultivares de Megathyrsus maximus cultivares BRS Zuri y Mombasa, así como el efecto de la fertilización nitrogenada (0 g m-2 y 90 g m-2 ). El área experimental donde constó de cuatro parcelas de 2.5 m x 6 m, cada parcela tuvo cuatro hileras de 5 m cada una, a una distancia de siembra 0.5 m entre sí. El proyecto se realizó en dos ciclos de cosecha con un intervalo de 28 días, del cual se evaluó la parte aérea y radicular de tres plantas por parcela en cada ciclo de los dos diferentes cultivares. Las variables fueron evaluadas a través de un análisis de varianza en arreglo factorial 2x2 con tres repeticiones cada una. La determinación de carbono en el sistema radicular no fue diferente, de igual manera que el nitrógeno; sin embargo, el cultivar Mombasa tuvo mayor volumen de raíces que el cv. BRS Zuri durante el primer ciclo de corta. También hubo diferencia (p<0.05) a favor del tratamiento con fertilización nitrogenada presentó un 18.50 % de Materia Seca y el testigo un 15.17 %; de la misma forma, fue mayor a favor del tratamiento con fertilización nitrogenada en la biomasa radicular con 63.50 g planta -1 y el testigo con 31.38 g planta-1 . El volumen de raíces de M. maximus con fertilización nitrogenada, obtuvo un 274.62 mm3 y área superficial de 534 mm2 . Sin embargo, en el diámetro ponderado (mm) no hubo diferencias entre tratamiento (p<0.05).es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe research project was carried out in the Agroestological field located in the TIERRA University with the objective of estimating carbon in the root system and aerial part in different crops of Megathyrsus maximus cultivars BRS Zuri and Mombasa, as well as the effect of nitrogen fertilization (0 g m-2 and 90 g m-2 ). Experimental area where they consist of four plots of 2.5 m x 6 m, each plot had four rows of 5 m each, a distance of sowing 0.5 m between them. The project was carried out in two harvest cycles with an interval of 28 days, in which the aerial and radicular part of the plants was evaluated by plot in each cycle of the different cultivars. The variables were evaluated through an analysis of variance in the 2x2 factorial arrangement with three repetitions each. The determination of carbon in the root system was not different, in the same way as nitrogen; However, the Mombasa cultivar had a higher root volume than the cv. BRS Zuri during the first cutting cycle. There was also a difference (p <0.05) in favor of the treatment with nitrogen fertilization that was present in 18.50 % of dry matter and the control in 15.17%; In the same way, it was mostly a nitrogen fertilization treatment in the Biomass.
