Factibilidad del fertirriego en la producción de sandía (Citrullus lanatus) y arroz (Oryza sativa) en el trópico húmedo.

dc.description.abstractLa fertiirrigación tiene la ventaja de hacer uso más eficiente del agua y de la fertilización, por estas razones esta tecnología se ha ido implementando para aumentar la productividad en los cultivos. El objetivo de este proyecto fue desarrollar un estudio de factibilidad, que permita medir la rentabilidad de la producción con fertirriego en el trópico húmedo, para dos cultivos sandía (Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum. & Nakai) y arroz (Oryza sativa L.). Entre los resultados obtenidos para ambos escenarios la opción que genera mayor rentabilidad a lo largo del ciclo de vida de los proyectos por los cinco años es utilizando financiamiento, para el escenario de producción de sandía se obtuvo un VAN de USD 44,736.63 y un TIR de 441.42 %, el proyecto es viable si el precio de venta no está por debajo de un 25 % teniendo en cuenta que se mantienen rendimientos promedios. Es viable si los promedios de producción se mantienen a un 70 % y el precio del mercado local se mantiene a USD 322.20 por tonelada. En el en escenario de producción de arroz se obtuvo de un VAN de USD 25,832.63 y un TIR de 515 %, el proyecto es viable si el precio de venta mayorista no se reduce más de un 32.23 % y se mantiene una producción promedio. Es viable si los rendimientos son mayores a 4.27 Tonꞏha-1ꞏaño-1 con precio de venta mayorista promedio de USD 1047.14 por tonelada. En el estudio de impacto ambiental ambos proyectos afectaron negativamente los componentes físicos y biótico, pero existió un impacto positivo en componente antrópico.es_ES
dc.description.abstractFertigation has the advantage of making more efficient use of water and fertilization, for these reasons this technology has been implemented to increase productivity in crops. The objective of this project was to develop a feasibility study, which allows to measure the profitability of production with fertigation in the humid tropics, for two crops watermelon (Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum. & Nakai) and rice (Oryza sativa L.). Among the results obtained for both scenarios, the option that generated the highest profitability throughout the life cycle of the projects during the five years is using financing, the watermelon production scenario obtained a NPV of USD 44,736.63 and an IRR of 441.42 %, the project is viable if the sale price is not below 25 % considering that average returns are maintained. It is viable if the production averages remain at 70 % and the local market price remains at USD 322.20 per ton. In the rice production scenario, a NPV of USD 25,832.63 and an IRR of 515 % was obtained, the project is viable if the wholesale price is not reduced by more than 32.23 % and an average production is maintained. It is viable if the yields are greater than 4.27 Tonꞏha-1ꞏyear-1 but with an average wholesale price of USD 1047.14 per ton. In the environmental impact study, both projects negatively affected the physical and biotic components, but there was a positive impact on the anthropic component.es_ES
