| dc.description.abstract | Se realizaron correlaciones entre las variables de clima, suelo y foliar con el rendimiento durante las temporadas 2011 hasta 2016 en una plantación de mango (Mangifera indica) en las variedades Keith, Tommy e Irwin de la empresa Manga Rica S.A en Liberia Guanacaste, con el fin de ayudar a la toma de decisiones respecto al manejo agronómico del cultivo, ya que se registró una disminución en la producción de mango desde el año 2011 al 2016. Se tomaron datos de cada año a nivel de suelo, foliar y clima en las variables de temperatura: media, máxima y mínima, radiación y viento. Los análisis mostraron que la variedad Keith es la variedad de mayor rendimiento en esta plantación mientras que Irwin es la de menor rendimiento a través de los seis años de análisis. Las correlaciones indicaron que para la variedad Keith existe una correlación positiva entre el rendimiento con el Cu del suelo, y con la relación Mg/K una correlación negativa. Para la variedad Tommy existe una correlación negativa entre el rendimiento con el K del suelo y con el Mg foliar y para la variedad Irwin no se encontraron correlaciones existentes con las variables químicas a nivel del suelo y foliar, pero si se encontró una correlación negativa entre el rendimiento con la temperatura media, es decir cuando la temperatura media subió el rendimiento de esta variedad se vio afectado. Para finalizar se realizó una tabla de rangos normales de nutrientes a nivel foliar para una mejor interpretación en la empresa. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Correlations were made between the yield and the variables of weather, soil and foliar nutrients throughout the seasons 2011 to 2016 in a plantation of mango (Mangifera indica) with varieties Keith, Tommy and Irwin in the company Manga Rica S.A in Liberia Guanacaste. We pursue this in order to aid decision-making regarding agronomical management, to improve yields. Each year data of the soil, foliar and weather were taken with the following variables of temperature: average maximum and minimum, radiation and wind. The analysis showed that Keith variety had the higher performance among the other varieties in the plantation, while Irwin has lower yield through the six years of analysis. Correlations indicated that for variety Keith there is a positive correlation between the yield and the Cu concentration in the soil and a negative correlation with the Mg/K relationship in the soil. For the variety Tommy, the yield has a negative correlation with the K in the soil and with the Mg foliar concentration. Irwin did not showed correlations between the chemical variables of the soil and foliar, but a negative correlation was found between the yield and the mean temperature, meaning when the mean temperature was higher the performance of this variety was affected. Finally, a table of normal ranges of nutrients in foliar concentration was made for a better interpretation in the company. | es_ES |
