This proposal it´s about the use of remnants of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) through a system of cattle feedlot in the Pantaleón Sugar Mill located in Guatemala, using the mentioned silage remnants as the main source of fiber in specialized diets for an intensive system, this is added in different proportions depending on the different phases in which the animals are. The importance of making these designs lies in obtaining optimal productive results at the time of their finalization, using the exact measurements of a feeder, drinker and shade for the animals. The proposed system has 19 pens with a capacity of 120 animals each, covering a total area of 28 000 m2. The period per cycle is 120 days, allowing to have three cycles per year with a total of 6840 animals. This manages to reduce 41.8 % of the total annual remnants currently produced by Pantaleón. The development of this proposal allows, in addition to reducing the remnants and transforming them into silage, generating economic income of USD 2,555,147.86 through the sale of animals and using the excreta generated annually in a ratio of 2 Mg per ha to fertilize 13 215 ha of land.
