Fenología de Solenostemon monostachyus (P. Beauv.) Briq. (FAM. Lamiaceae).

Abstract

El estudio se realizó en el Invernadero de Investigación del Centro de Cosechas de la Universidad EARTH y se evaluó la fenología de la arvense Solenostemon monostachyus (P. Beauv.) Briq. (FAM. Lamiaceae), relacionando el ciclo de crecimiento con los Grados Día (GD) en el período comprendido entre julio a octubre 2019. La etapa (S) relacionada a la germinación inicia a los 64,1 GD y finaliza al acumular 241,9, La siguiente etapa denominada Vegetativa (V) inicia a los 255,9 y culmina cuando acumula 938,1 GD, por último, la etapa Reproductiva (R) cuyo inicio se da a los 1002.3 y finaliza a los 1435,8 GD. Además, la planta tiene la capacidad de rebrote a partir de V3. Esta información puede ser utilizada como herramienta importante para el manejo y control de esta planta.

The study was conducted in the Research Greenhouse of the EARTH University Crop Center on the phenology of the weed Solenostemon monostachyus (P. Beauv.) Briq. (FAM. Lamiaceae). The experiment was conducted between July and October 2019 and the growth cycle of the weed was related with Degree Days (DD). The stage (S) denoted as germination starts at 64,1 DD and ends at accumulation of 241,9. The next growth phase known as the Vegetative stage (V) begins at 255,9 and ends when it accumulates 938,1 DD. Finally, the Reproductive stage (R) occurs at 1002,3 and ends at 1435,8 DD. In addition, the plant has a ratooning ability at stage V3. This information can be used as an important tool for the management and control of this plant.
