The objective of this study was to determine the effect of three levels of supplementation on the completion of bulls for meat production. An experimental group design was carried out standardized by weight. The animals were managed under a grazing system with supplementation at the pasture level using 18 animals per treatment with an average initial weight of 441.57±21.75 kg to evaluate daily weight gain, carcass weight and the cost-benefit ratio of the different diets. The treatments consisted of three different supplementation levels T1 0.226 %, T2 0.452 % and T3 0.678 % of the initial live weight, which corresponded to 1 kg, 2 kg and 3 kg of balanced food, respectively. Animal weight, forage and diet balance samples were taken every two weeks. The treatment with the greatest availability of nutrients was T2, followed by T3 and finally T1. Meanwhile, the nutritional composition of the concentrate did not show specific differences (p> 0.05). In the offered diets, T3 demonstrated trend with a higher percentage of non-fiber carbohydrates (NFC) of 31.24 % compared to the T1 with 28.38 % and T2 with 28.34 %, as dietary supplementation levels increased. The average biweekly weight gain in treatments was higher in T3, resulting in specific differences between the average daily gain (ADG) in the treatments (p <0.05). When comparing the values of the variables during the harvest of the treatments, specific differences (p <0.05) were found in the carcass weight. The cost-benefit analysis shows that all three treatments obtained a utility; however, the best net utility was for T1.
