This project was carried out with the purpose of identifying the effectiveness of a substrate made from the mixture of biochar, mycorrhizae and humic acids for the bioremediation of soil contaminated by petroleum derivatives, especially gasoline; subsequently evaluate the economic potential of production and production costs. The study is divided into three treatments, the substrate under evaluation (T2), biochar (T3) and a control (T1). The cation exchange capacity obtained by treatments 2 and 3 was evaluated, as was the growth of grass in the three treatments, the amount of manganese and lead retained and a complete chemical analysis. The results indicate that T2 has a larger grass growth (308 leaves) compared to the other treatments. No Pb was found in the chemical analyzes carried out with the leachates. However, the content of Pb in the applied gasoline is very low. Therefore, it is decided to take measures of Mn where there are identified differences between treatments (T1-28.68 mg L-1, T2-23.12 mg L-1 and T3-35.26 mg L-1). Per the results found in the use of the substrate, it contributed to the soil bioremediation process, complementing the other bioremediation techniques of oil spills in soils.
